What the Role Delivers
We are seeking a Global Marketing Communications Manager to work closely with regional marketing managers and marketing operations to drive growth for AgroFresh in each of our four global regions. This role is a key member of the AgroFresh global marketing team, accountable for managing the communication channels and driving results across all phases of the marketing funnel. In this role, you will build and execute a global strategy to position AgroFresh as the trusted leader in post-harvest innovation, leveraging earned, paid, and owned tactics. In addition, you will be the global cinch point for our corporate and product brands and build consistency wherever possible across our regions in how we deliver campaign assets, global trade show and event presence, content, and sales collateral materials that support a consistent AgroFresh and product branding strategy.
Key Responsibilities
In order of relative importance
Global Coordination of Promotional Strategy and Execution?
Develop and implement a global plan to effectively position AgroFresh as the leader in pre- and post-harvest freshness innovation, leveraging earned and paid media, executive visibility, and owned channels
Manage media and public relations planning, in partnership with regional marketing managers, to effectively position AgroFresh in key global events
Manage key internal events and communications, including multi-day global leadership meetings
Provide communications support for our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and drive social media content and engagement for both our CEO and Chief Technology Officer (CTO), in support of our global positioning efforts
In partnership with regional marketing managers, build a global promotional strategy (paid, owned and earned) that focuses on core growth drivers for our business and optimizes our spend?
Work closely with product portfolio management team, regional marketing managers, and commercial teams to ensure that marketing materials reflect both global product strategy and meet regional priorities?
Work closely with marketing operations and regional marketers to develop global trade show processes to standardize our presence at large, global shows and maximize our ROI on those activities, including: booth layout and design, lead generation processes, and administrative processes
Partner with global marketing operations and regional marketing managers to enable content creation for growth marketing campaigns (including both lead generation/nurturing and account based marketing)
Establish standardized processes for campaign development, ensuring efficient workflows and easy delivery to regional teams
Build and maintain a global repository of marketing materials, ensuring all regions have access to up-to-date and relevant assets?
Ensure that all global marketing communications and assets are consistent in tone, messaging, and branding, while still meeting individual regional needs
Manage relationships with external agencies for content creation, design, and digital support, ensuring projects meet global brand standards and can be adapted regionally?
Set up mechanisms with marketing operations to track the effectiveness of global campaigns and assets, gathering feedback from regional marketing managers to continuously improve materials?
Align all communication strategies with the broader global and regional business goals to support growth, brand awareness, and product adoption.
Manage a global marketing budget, in close coordination with regional marketing managers

What the Job Requires
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or similar major (MBA a plus)
7+ years of experience in marketing communications
3+ years of media/public relations experience
Outstanding writing skills
Up to 20% travel, including both domestic and global travel

Proven experience in global marketing?and communications
A proven track record of delivering business growth
Agriculture industry experience (strongly preferred)
Expertise both in building effective high-level strategies and executing them to deliver desired business outcomes
Strong understanding of digital?marketing, social media, and content?creation
Excellent written and verbal?communication skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders?across different cultures and?regions
Experience in managing agencies?and external partners
Proficiency in analyzing marketing?data and metrics to measure campaign?performance
PR/media relations experience
Solid understanding of SalesForce and SalesForce Marketing Cloud
