What the Role Delivers

We are looking for a Regional Marketing Specialist EMEA to drive high-quality execution of marketing programs across key customer touchpoints, bringing AgroFresh’s value proposition—Science, Solutions, Sustainability—to life in the market.

This role is focused on field marketing and activation, ensuring strong and consistent execution across trade shows, customer events, media, and integrated campaigns, while leveraging our Salesforce CRM platform to track performance and support the sales cycle.

You will work closely with global marketing and sales teams to ensure marketing activities are directly aligned with crop cycles, market priorities, and customer needs, and contribute to measurable commercial impact across EMEA.

Key Responsibilities
In order of relative importance

Customer Touchpoint Execution (Core Focus)

  • Lead execution of key regional marketing activations, including trade shows, congresses, and conferences, AgroFresh Xperience customer events, industry events with speaking opportunities.
  • Ensure strong, consistent brand presence and messaging across all touchpoints
  • Coordinate logistics, content, and agency support for high-quality execution
  • Manage media activities through external agencies, ensuring alignment with positioning and performance objectives

Sales Enablement & Market Support

  • Partner closely with sales teams in key EMEA markets to support local priorities, customer needs, and sales cycles across different crops
  • Localize and create relevant marketing assets for the key market (reports, brochures, landing pages, website content, and branding materials).
  • Contribute to lead generation and follow-up processes linked to field activities

Campaign Execution & Demand Generation

  • Execute multi-channel marketing campaigns (paid, owned, earned) aligned with regional priorities
  • Adapt global campaigns to local market dynamics and crop cycles
  • Support lead nurturing and conversion in coordination with sales teams

Salesforce & Marketing Execution

  • Execute and track campaigns within Salesforce CRM (core requirement)
  • Support use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud for campaign deployment and automation
  • Ensure proper lead capture, tracking, and attribution from events and campaigns
  • Maintain data quality and support reporting on performance

Digital & Social Media Management

  • Manage regional social media execution (LinkedIn and relevant platforms)
  • Coordinate content planning, publishing, and engagement tracking
  • Work with agencies to ensure consistency and effectiveness

Performance Tracking & Optimization

  • Track performance of events, campaigns, and media activities against KPIs
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve effectiveness and ROI
  • Contribute to a more data-driven approach to marketing execution

Finance / Budget Management

  • Monitor marketing budgets and expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness and ROI
  • Manage and process POs and invoices for various vendors

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Partner with sales, R&D, Product Portfolio Management, and Regulatory to ensure marketing is commercially relevant, technically accurate, and compliant
  • Translate cross-functional input into clear, customer-relevant execution across campaigns and touchpoints

What the Job Requires

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in field marketing in an international B2B marketing environment
  • Experience working across multiple countries within EMEA
  • Experience in commercially driven organizations with long sales cycles and/or distributor-based models (strongly preferred)
  • Customer and results-driven mindset with passion for execution and impact
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong execution mindset with attention to detail and ability to deliver under deadlines
  • Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across regions, both internal and external
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment

What to Have Done and Know How to Do

These skills and experiences are highly desirable; however, they do not preclude exceptions based on an individual’s performance history and demonstrated potential.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platform (campaign execution, lead tracking, reporting)
  • Proven experience executing field marketing activities and events in a B2B environment
  • Experience managing agencies (media, events, or digital)
  • Experience managing social media platforms in a professional context
  • Experience in agriculture, AgTech, fresh produce, or food-related industries
  • Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar automation and campaign workflows
  • Exposure to lead lifecycle management and funnel optimization
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (mandatory), French and any additional EMEA language is an advantage
